On the slope side at the same location as above, there is a crack about 50m long and 20-50cm wide, "suspended" high up, with the potential risk of further landslides and collapse onto the road, causing insecurity for traffic participants.

According to the leader of Mang Den Commune People's Committee, the area where the crack appeared has an estimated volume of rock and soil of about 3,000m³. The local authorities have informed the road management unit to monitor and develop a plan to thoroughly handle it when the weather is sunny. During the storm, the authorities have put up warning signs, arranged machinery on standby, and are ready to clear rock and soil if a landslide occurs to ensure traffic.

National Highway 24 is about 165km long, the only traffic route connecting Quang Ngai province with the Central Highlands region, playing an important role in socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the Central Highlands region and is also the road leading to Mang Den tourist area.
