According to the plan, from now until the end of 2025, the locality will inspect compliance with legal regulations in business; price posting and selling at listed prices; the sale of counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods; the situation of touts soliciting and following tourists; encroachment on roads and sidewalks; violations of regulations on food hygiene and safety, fire prevention and fighting and mandatory business conditions.

As Thanh Nien has reported, since the beginning of the summer tourist season, tourists have continuously complained about the quality of service at Bai Chay tourist area, mainly restaurants being accused of "ripping off customers".
Through the reporter's investigation, the situation of restaurants being lured by tour electric car drivers, taxi drivers, and hotel staff in Bai Chay tourist area to receive a commission of 20 - 30% of the sales bill.
Accordingly, the more expensive the food service is, the bigger the commission the "bait" gets, even in some cases, several million VND/bill.
A representative of the People's Committee of Bai Chay Ward said that through this inspection, the locality will publicly announce the violating restaurants and strictly handle the "price gouging" situation that damages the local business environment.
