At the Galaxy Unpacked event held on the evening of July 9th (Vietnam time), Samsung surprised everyone by simultaneously introducing three different foldable smartphones for the first time, marking a new step in the company's product strategy.
Galaxy Z Fold7: Reduced thickness, upgraded screen and camera.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 retains the same design as its predecessor, but reduces its thickness to 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded. Weighing 215g, it's lighter than some high-end phones currently on the market. The screen bezels are thinner, and the frame is square-shaped.
The external screen size has increased to 6.5 inches, while the internal screen reaches 8 inches. Both use Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels, with a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits and a refresh rate of 1–120Hz.
The device uses a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, with optional 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and storage ranging from 256GB to 1TB. It has a 4,400mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The main camera has a 200-megapixel resolution, along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The phone has two 10-megapixel selfie cameras, no longer using the under-display technology of previous models.
The device is IPX8 water-resistant. However, the Galaxy Z Fold7 no longer supports the S Pen due to changes in the screen structure.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 features a redesigned look, expanding the secondary display to 4.1 inches and the main display to 6.9 inches. Both have a brightness of 2,600 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It features a Samsung-developed Exynos 2500 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 256 or 512GB of storage.
The battery capacity has been increased to 4,300mAh – the highest ever in the Flip series. The device remains compact when folded.
Galaxy Z Flip7 FE: A stripped-down version with reduced specifications.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is the first Fan Edition in Samsung's foldable phone lineup. Its design is similar to the Galaxy Z Flip6, featuring a 3.4-inch secondary display and a 6.7-inch main display. However, the external display has a brightness of 1,600 nits and a refresh rate of only 60Hz.
The phone uses an Exynos 2400 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 128 or 256GB of storage. It has a 4,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The rear camera setup remains the same, consisting of a 50-megapixel and a 12-megapixel main camera, while the in-display selfie camera is 10 megapixels.
These devices are expected to go on sale in the Vietnamese market at the end of this month.
