Preparations for the 6th Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival are basically complete, ready for the opening ceremony tonight (November 24).
Vinh Cam VKMEC Advertising and Event Organizing Company Limited has basically completed the infrastructure for the exhibition booths and the festival stage.
In recent days, Tran Phu Square ( Ha Tinh City) has become more vibrant as relevant units are busy completing the preparation of booths and setting up the stage for the province's orange and agricultural product festival. Around the square, banners promoting the orange festival have also been hung up to help publicize and spread awareness of the event.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cam – Director of Vinh Cam VKMEC Advertising and Event Organization Company Limited (Ha Tinh City) said: “As the unit responsible for constructing the infrastructure for the festival, over the past 10 days, we have mobilized manpower and resources to work and complete the construction of booth infrastructure, stages, and festival gate decorations to hand over to the Department of Industry and Trade on schedule.”
Tien Giap pork sausage production facility is preparing products to bring to the orange festival.
A particularly important element of the festival is the merchandise. To participate in the festival, businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities have proactively prepared a full range of goods to introduce the highest quality products to consumers.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Giap, owner of Tien Giap pork sausage production facility (Huong Khe town), said: “Our facility has prepared 300 kg of pork sausage, 100 kg of cartilage sausage, 100 kg of regular sausage, and many other products to bring to the festival. This morning, we brought the products to decorate our booth and display them.”
“This year, we are bringing products such as organic oranges, green squash, and molasses to the festival. By selecting the best products to bring to the festival, we hope to continue promoting our goods to consumers, thereby expanding our market,” shared Mr. Doan Quoc Hoai – Director of Hoai Luan Private Enterprise (Vu Quang).
The produce has been prepared by the locals for the orange festival taking place on the evening of November 24th.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, this year's orange festival has seen over 100 stalls registered by various localities and units, with many localities having a large number of stalls such as: Thach Ha with 10 stalls, Huong Son with 10 stalls, Cam Xuyen with 8 stalls, Can Loc with 6 stalls...
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, a specialist from the Economic and Infrastructure Department of the Thach Ha District People's Committee, said: "This year's Orange Festival sees Thach Ha district registering 10 booths showcasing products from 11 establishments in the area. These specialties have high demand in markets both within and outside the province, such as fish sauce, dried seafood, brown rice tea, rice, fresh mushrooms, rice vermicelli, sim wine, ram cakes, bird's nest, jellyfish, etc. A large portion of these products have received certifications as typical rural industrial products at various levels and OCOP products. Currently, the establishments have fully prepared their goods to bring to the festival."
Besides the province's signature products, this year's festival also features booths from Co.opmart Ha Tinh supermarket showcasing Vietnamese goods, contributing to the "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" campaign, and a booth from the Department of Information and Communications introducing digital transformation products.
Banners promoting the orange festival are hung along the roads, helping to publicize and spread awareness of the event.
Mr. Truong Van Thuan, Director of the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade), said: To prepare for the Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival, since the beginning of November, the Department of Industry and Trade has notified and urged units and localities to compile lists of booths and product catalogs; selected event organizers to build booths; and worked with relevant units to prepare the venue and ensure safety and order.
“Since November 20th, the unit has also put up banners and flags on the main streets of the city to publicize the festival and promote the event through media channels and social networks. This morning, we handed over the booths to the localities to display goods, welcome people and tourists to visit, and get ready for the opening ceremony taking place tonight,” Mr. Thuan added.
