Since being called back by coach Troussier to join the team on FIFA Day in June 2023, An Khanh has had 5 training sessions with U23 Vietnam.

This is also the first time a player playing in the Czech Republic has worn the U23 Vietnam shirt.
Before that, he had never appeared in Vietnam's youth teams or played professionally in the country.
Therefore, even though he had been in contact with his teammates for many days, An Khanh still seemed quite shy and bewildered.
But in terms of expertise, the player born in 2005 is adapting quite well to coach Troussier's football philosophy.
During training sessions, he was often seen attentively listening to instructions from Mr. Troussier and his colleagues.
However, similar to his teammates, An Khanh also encountered many difficulties in completing the difficult requests from the French coach.
Returning to the training session on the afternoon of June 10, Coach Troussier continued to mix the U23 and Vietnam national team players and then divided the team into 4 groups to practice tactics.
In this training session, players are required to pass, move quickly in blocks and not make mistakes to avoid losing the rhythm of play.
The training session was pushed very fast, whenever a student made a mistake, the strategist born in 1955 would stop to remind them.
According to the schedule, on June 15, the Vietnamese team will compete with Hong Kong (China) and 4 days later will compete with Syria.
