Talking with Quan Ba Commune Police, it was learned that at about 9:00 a.m. on October 25, at km 43+600, National Highway 4C, Quan Ba Heaven Gate area, a landslide suddenly occurred, nearly 6,000 cubic meters of soil, rocks and trees collapsed and buried the road surface with a length of about 30 meters.
Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities of Quan Ba commune were present at the scene to direct the handling of the consequences; the commune police force proactively stretched ropes, put up warning signs, and regulated traffic.
Currently, the government is mobilizing human resources and machinery to repair the road so that it can be reopened as soon as possible. However, due to the large volume of rocks and soil, the work of repairing the damage and clearing the road will take a long time.
Therefore, vehicles traveling from Ha Giang 1 ward to Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark and vice versa need to travel via Din San-Thuong Son route (Quan Ba commune) or Din San route through Tung Vai commune.

Also on National Highway 4C, through Quan Ba commune, in early October, many landslides occurred on the left and right sides. The locality promptly repaired them to ensure traffic.
However, the potential risk of landslides in repaired areas is still high, so vehicles traveling on this route are advised to pay attention and ensure safe speed, as regulated by authorities.
