The official dispatch states that, building on the success of the "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" National Achievements Exhibition, and to promote the development of the domestic market, stimulate consumer demand, connect supply and demand, and link supply chains, contributing to achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025, the Prime Minister assigns the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup Corporation, the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), and relevant ministries, localities, and units to urgently organize the 2025 Autumn Fair in October 2025.
The fair promotes consumption and investment.
The fair aims to create a channel to promote trade, investment, consumption, economic connectivity, trade connections, goods, industry, agriculture, and services, and to boost domestic production and import-export activities.
To ensure the successful organization of the 2025 Autumn Fair, scheduled to take place from October 20th to November 5th, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to take the lead and closely coordinate with relevant agencies to meticulously prepare all necessary conditions for organizing the fair within the entire space of the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).
The organization of the event must ensure practicality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, security, and safety. Activities should be organized to connect organizations, businesses, and investors participating in the fair with domestic and international partners; businesses should be encouraged to actively introduce and sell their products, services, and technologies to consumers.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes cultural spaces and activities, commercializes cultural products, promotes culinary culture, traditional ao dai (Vietnamese dress), tourism, programs to promote the cultural industry and entertainment industry, and organizes other cultural events during the fair.
The Ministry of Finance, in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will guide and allocate funds to organize the trade fair in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring it is economical, safe, fair, and effective.
Widespread promotion is needed to attract businesses and the public to participate.
The Prime Minister also instructed the Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, Vietnam Radio, and other media outlets to actively promote information about the fair to the public, businesses, and domestic and international investors.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs directs Vietnamese embassies and representative offices abroad to widely promote information about the 2025 Autumn Fair to businesses and organizations in host countries; invite businesses and organizations from host countries to participate in the fair; and organize business delegations to exchange ideas, build relationships, cooperate, conduct transactions, and connect economically with Vietnam through the fair.
Ministries, departments, and localities participate in the fair and mobilize and organize their affiliated and local businesses to participate, widely promoting information about the fair to the business community, organizations, industry associations, etc., within their areas of management, ensuring that participating products are abundant and diverse, and that the strengths of each industry, sector, locality, and region are highlighted.
The Hanoi People's Committee is coordinating with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vingroup Corporation to widely disseminate information to the public; arranging and increasing public transport routes to serve transportation and pick-up/drop-off of visitors; and urgently studying the expansion of traffic sections and routes connecting to the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).
State-owned corporations and enterprises at the central and local levels actively and proactively participate in trade fairs, considering and selecting distinctive and representative products to promote their products, services, and brands, thereby enhancing trade and investment promotion.
The Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son to directly and regularly supervise all aspects of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other relevant ministries, agencies, localities, and businesses in organizing the fair successfully; the Government Office is to monitor and expedite the work to ensure timeliness and report any arising issues.
