Shooting continues to conquer the SEA Games 33
After winning the gold medal in the 10m air rifle medley with teammate Nguyen Tam Quang at the 33rd SEA Games, Le Thi Mong Tuyen confidently aims to conquer the 10m air rifle individual women's event with her female teammates today. Competing alongside Mong Tuyen are her two teammates, Phi Thanh Thao and Nguyen Thi Thao. If they qualify for the final at 9:00 AM, Mong Tuyen and her teammates will compete in the final at 11:45 AM.

Also today, Vietnamese athletes will compete in a series of exciting sports, with qualifying rounds starting at 9 am, followed by semi-finals and finals in the early afternoon. In badminton, the pair Vu Thi Trang/Bui Bich Phuong will play in the semi-finals against the third-seeded pair Kusuma/Puspitasari (Indonesia) at 11:30 am. In women's volleyball, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates will play in the semi-finals against the Philippines at 3 pm, aiming for a victory to advance to the final.

Swimming enters its fourth day of competition, with the highlight being the performance of swimmer Nguyen Huy Hoang in the 200m freestyle. This is the event in which he won a bronze medal at the 2023 SEA Games with a fairly good time. However, Vietnam's number one swimmer will have to compete against very strong opponents from Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Huy Hoang will compete in the qualifying round starting at 9 am, followed by the final at 6 pm.

In athletics, Vietnamese fans are focusing their attention on the golden girl Nguyen Thi Oanh as she competes in the women's 5,000m final at 6:45 PM. Having won four gold medals at the previous SEA Games, Nguyen Thi Oanh has decided to participate in only three events this time: the 5,000m, 3,000m steeplechase, and 10,000m. Her goal is to win all three gold medals for Vietnamese athletics.
