Solve tax problems right on site

The “60-day peak conversion” program was implemented under Decision 3389/QD-BTC with the goal of replacing the lump-sum tax method with a declaration model, linked with electronic invoices and more transparent revenue management. This is a major change, requiring business households to quickly adapt to new processes and digital technology .

Grasping the urgent need, with the orientation of accompanying the stable development of customers,SHB officially launched the program " 60 days accompanying business households - Innovating to reach new heights ", focusing on supporting small traders and business households nationwide to adapt to the new tax model. Through on-site activities and on-site support, SHB hopes to help business households immediately remove obstacles and gradually build a more effective and sustainable management foundation.

60-day accelerated transformation campaign for small traders launched by SHB

Accordingly, SHB branches in Hanoi organized a series of in-depth seminars for more than 350 small traders, gathering tax and legal experts from prestigious units in each locality. Here, the experts directly updated important new points in tax policy, explained in detail how to convert from lump-sum tax model to declaration, as well as the procedures to note if business households want to convert to enterprise model in the near future. These contents meet the actual needs of small traders - a group that is under a lot of pressure when having to get used to new regulations.

According to records, most of the questions from business households focus on how to calculate taxes based on revenue levels, especially for groups with revenue under 200 million VND/year, whether they need to open a separate account or not; for groups with revenue over 3 billion VND/year, the tax payable is equivalent to that of enterprises or not and whether they should convert their model to enjoy preferential policies. Many business households are also worried about deducting expenses when they lack valid documents, such as rental costs paid only in cash.

SHB's consulting workshop attracted a large number of small traders to attend.

At each workshop, experts answered all questions and provided step-by-step instructions so that businesses could understand their responsibilities for declaration, accurately determine tax rates based on their scale of operations, and standardize their books according to new regulations. This is the biggest difficulty for small traders and is also the content that SHB and experts have helped to resolve, helping businesses feel more secure during the transition period.

In the coming period, branches across the SHB system will continue to implement consulting and answering activities in the form of focused seminars or meetings with individual businesses, depending on the characteristics of each region and local culture. The Bank aims to not only support businesses in complying with tax regulations, but also accompany them in the process of standardizing management and gradually transforming digitally.

Comprehensive financial ecosystem to support small traders

Along with direct support at the business location, SHB provides small traders with practical financial solutions that suit their daily needs.

When opening an account, the owner can choose a beautiful, easy-to-remember number, increasing professionalism when transacting with partners. SHB offers free online international debit card issuance and refunds up to 3.6 million VND/year, very useful for purchasing expenses, payments or online advertising.

A series of attractive incentives for small businesses to "take off"

These supports are not “incentives to attract”, but are what SHB builds based on the real habits, real worries and real needs of small businesses, who are entering a new phase full of opportunities but also many confusions.

SHB representative shared that the transition from lump-sum tax to declaration is creating a lot of pressure for business households. Not only getting used to the new process, but also the burden of books, invoices and costs incurred when having to comply with regulations. Many small traders are used to doing business based on experience, rarely use technology, so applying electronic invoices, storing documents or determining taxable revenue makes them worried, even afraid of making mistakes. Meanwhile, purchasing power has not fully recovered, input costs are still increasing, making them more cautious.

We understand that behind each tax number is the story of the livelihood of those who sell goods during the day and calculate at night. Therefore, what small traders need at this time is not just a tool or equipment, but a companion that can explain in an easy-to-understand way, guide them step by step and help them solve very common problems in business. SHB wishes to accompany them in that true sense not only with financial solutions, but also with listening and real support so that business households can confidently go through the transition period ,” this representative emphasized.

In the coming time, SHB will continue to expand its chain of support activities in many provinces and cities such as Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho..., maintain the direct consulting model and add new management tools to help small traders easily adapt to tax regulations. The bank is also perfecting the integrated sales software solution for electronic invoicing and direct data connection with tax authorities - an important step to help business households significantly reduce the time to process books, limit errors and increase transparency in operations.

Looking beyond the 60-day period, SHB is building a comprehensive ecosystem for small traders from payment, cash flow management, flexible loans to safe accumulation solutions, with the goal of bringing a smooth, convenient and absolutely safe experience. SHB is always committed to long-term companionship, becoming a trusted partner throughout the business journey of small traders, from small steps today to sustainable development in the future.
