Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training assigned two outstanding graduates who had been selected: Tran Quang Anh, a Bachelor of English Pedagogy from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, to work at Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted; and Luu Anh Khoa, a Bachelor of Mathematics Pedagogy from Da Lat University, to work at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted.
Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, said that they have worked with two specialized schools on the assignment of positions, policies, and creating conditions for new teachers to develop their abilities, as well as participate in specialized training programs for gifted students at the school and city levels.
According to the Department of Education and Training's leadership, this assignment is based on criteria such as areas of excellence, suitable working environments, and overall personnel balance within the sector. Immediately after the Department of Education and Training issues the recruitment decisions, the two schools will proceed with the teaching assignments.
In an interview with reporters regarding the policy of rewarding civil servants recruited from the pool of outstanding graduates and young scientists working at public institutions under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, Mr. Tong Phuoc Loc, Head of the Personnel and Organization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, informed that civil servants recruited from the pool of outstanding graduates and young scientists working at the two specialized high schools in Ho Chi Minh City will receive appropriate benefits according to Decree No. 140/2017/ND-CP and preferential allowances for teachers working at specialized schools, as well as additional income from the city's policies.
Specifically, regarding the remuneration policy stipulated in Decree No. 140/2017/ND-CP, these students are entitled to 100% of their salary during their probationary period; receive an additional allowance equal to 100% of their current salary based on their salary coefficient for a period of 5 years (this additional allowance is not used to calculate contributions to mandatory social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance); receive salary allowances as prescribed by current law (preferential allowances); receive priority in training and basic knowledge in political theory, state management, and specialized knowledge in education; and receive priority in being assigned to carry out scientific and technological research tasks, programs, projects, and initiatives from the school level upwards.
At the same time, the two outstanding graduates who were admitted also received preferential allowances such as an allowance of 70% of their current salary according to their rank and grade for teachers working at specialized high schools, and additional income support policies from the city...
Reportedly, this is the first time the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has directly recruited teachers from among outstanding university graduates and young scientists.
