(NLDO)- According to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the head of the unit is responsible if there is a violation that affects the integrity and uniqueness of the industry database.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just issued an urgent notice to educational institutions across the city regarding the database system software of the education and training sector.

In recent times, the Department of Education and Training of the City has consistently and uniquely deployed a database system for the education and training sector, which is centrally managed and is a public asset in the digital environment of the sector. This system is officially operated at the address: https://csdl.hcm.edu.vn.

The City Department of Education and Training does not require educational institutions to use school management software from any specific supplier.

However, through review, the Department of Education and Training recorded that a number of educational institutions are using and viewing the software at the domain name https://hcm.quanlytruonghoc.edu.vn as the official database system of the industry. The origin is due to a number of individuals and businesses introducing themselves as representative units of the Department of Education and Training of the City.

Regarding this issue, the Department of Education and Training of the City announces and affirms that the software system at the above domain name is not an industry database system and is not under the management, implementation or ownership of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City. The Department does not assign any representative unit to perform this task.

Units do not initiate or generate original data according to Decision 1230 from the system https://hcm.quanlytruonghoc.edu.vn or any other school management software. All original data is only initiated at the industry database https://csdl.hcm.edu.vn.

The unit head is responsible if this violation occurs in his unit, affecting the integrity and uniqueness of the industry database.

All management, operation, reporting, statistics and official data exchange activities of the entire industry are only performed on the industry database system at https://csdl.hcm.edu.vn. Data from this system is the official and sole source of information serving the state management of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Department of Education and Training of the City does not require educational institutions to use school management software from any specific supplier. Heads of educational institutions have full authority to choose appropriate school management software and specialized software, as long as these systems must ensure technical standards (such as level 3 information security) and strictly comply with the Department of Education and Training's regulation 1230, and connect and synchronize two-way data via API with the industry database.

The implementation of solutions on the City Education and Training sector database in the city is directly carried out through administrative documents. The leaders of the City Department of Education and Training request the People's Committees of wards, communes, special zones, heads of departments under the department and heads of educational institutions to clearly understand the content, inform all cadres, teachers and employees at the unit and strictly comply with the regulations on database management of the sector.
