The Department of Science and Technology organized a training course on artificial intelligence (AI) application skills for leaders in performing public duties.

On the morning of September 25, 2025, in Buon Ma Thuot ward, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) organized a training course on skills to exploit and apply AI in public service for leaders. This is one of the key activities of the 2025 digital transformation training program according to Decision No. 0801/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee.

Attending the program were members of the Provincial People's Committee Steering Committee on science , technology development, innovation, digital transformation and Project 06; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee; representatives of departments, branches and sectors; and leaders of communes and wards in the province.

Mr. Ra Lan Truong Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, delivered the opening speech.

In his opening speech, Mr. Ra Lan Truong Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, said that in recent times, Dak Lak province has implemented many solutions to promote digital transformation, in which the application of AI is identified as a key task. He asked the trainees to promote a sense of responsibility, seriously participate in learning, actively exchange with lecturers, and share practical experiences to be able to effectively apply knowledge to leadership and management work at agencies and units...

Dr. Nguyen Nhat Quang - Director of VINASA Institute of Science and Technology taught at the Conference

Directly teaching the training course is Dr. Nguyen Nhat Quang - Director of VINASA Institute of Science and Technology, member of the expert group assisting the National Committee on Digital Transformation, consultant for the Steering Committee of Project 06 of the Government. The main content of the training course includes 02 topics: Improving the capacity to apply information technology and innovation in developing digital government and Applying AI, chatbot in the public administration sector. The content of the topics mainly refers to the implementation of the Law on Electronic Transactions in the province, the national digital data strategy in the process of innovation, breakthroughs in digital technology and digital data, orientation in creating digital data, trends and strategies for applying AI, risks and challenges that may be encountered, and at the same time, guiding the principles of safe and responsible use of AI.

During the event, delegates exchanged and discussed enthusiastically about specific situations, thereby better understanding the opportunities and challenges when applying AI to the process of performing public duties.

Not only stopping at theory, the training course also equips the leadership team with tools and methods to help optimize work processes, from document drafting, data management to decision support; contributing to creating a foundation for Dak Lak to continue promoting digital transformation, administrative reform and building a modern, effective digital government, better serving people and businesses.
