On October 15, Sun PhuQuoc Airways, a subsidiary of Mr. Le Viet Lam's Sun Group, officially opened its first commercial ticket sales, scheduled to take off in November 2025.

According to Tuoi Tre Online , Sun PhuQuoc Airways' ticket booking system has opened for many domestic routes connecting major tourist and economic centers such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc.

Choosing the Hanoi - Phu Quoc route, the ticket prices of the airlines have significant differences. The survey shows that in the initial stage, Sun PhuQuoc Airways launched quite competitive prices. If calculating the total round-trip ticket price from Hanoi to Phu Quoc, this airline is selling at 3.1 million VND, significantly lower than the 6.1 million VND of Vietnam Airlines, even cheaper than Vietjet.

However, this low-cost fare range may soon run out when the airline adjusts its pricing policy to the market average, equivalent to other domestic airlines. This is the stage of introducing the brand and attracting passengers. After stabilizing the frequency and fleet, the price will be rebalanced to ensure business efficiency.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan - General Director of Sun PhuQuoc Airways - said that passengers can book tickets for flights departing from November 1, 2025 to March 28, 2026 , including the peak period of Lunar New Year 2026 .

In the first phase, Sun PhuQuoc Airways will focus on operating trunk routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang with Phu Quoc , along with the "golden route" Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City , before expanding the domestic flight network in early 2026.

Many airline ticket agents believe that Sun PhuQuoc Airways is choosing a "middle" position between traditional airlines and low-cost airlines, with many benefits.

Even in economy class, passengers are allowed 7kg of carry-on baggage, 23kg of checked baggage and free meals, which most low-cost airlines do not apply.

The airline representative said that in the first hour of opening for sale, the Sun PhuQuoc Airways website recorded more than 20,000 visits, many flights were quickly sold out or had very few tickets left.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways is the first airline in the history of Vietnamese aviation to be granted two important certificates by the Civil Aviation Authority at the same time, including an aircraft operation license (AOC) and an aviation training organization license (ATO).

The airline has currently received 3 Airbus A321NX aircraft, expected to increase to 8 in 2026. The team of pilots and flight attendants are trained domestically and internationally.
