On the afternoon of September 28th, speaking with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper , Mr. Vo Cao Long - Head of the Education and Training Department of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City - said that the unit had worked with the leadership of Chuong Duong Primary School and the teacher who was accused by parents of soliciting money to buy computers (laptops).
According to Mr. Long, the school has temporarily suspended Ms. TPH - the homeroom teacher of class 4/3 at Chuong Duong Primary School - from teaching while the incident is being handled.
Chuong Duong Primary School will sign a contract with an outside teacher to ensure that learning activities for class 4/3 continue normally, without interrupting students' learning.
This plan aims to stabilize the psychology of students and parents, and at the same time resolve the class transfer request of 25 parents of students in class 4/3.
In addition, all the money contributed by parents will be returned to the Class Parents' Representative Committee to properly carry out the functions and tasks of the Class Parents' Representative Committee's operating budget.

The decision stems from the fact that a teacher in Ho Chi Minh City was soliciting donations from parents to buy personal computers (laptops) using inappropriate language and behavior, which is causing public outrage.
During a meeting with parents and the school's administration, the teacher admitted her mistakes in encouraging parents to purchase laptops for her personally, and in keeping class funds. She also apologized to the school leadership and the parents of students in class 4/3, promising to correct all her errors.
However, 25 out of 27 parents who attended the meeting still signed the petition requesting a change of homeroom teacher or transfer their child to another class.
