Along with the Hung King worship, Xoan singing has been compiled and included in the local education program of Phu Tho province, according to the new general education program from the 2021-2022 school year, contributing to equipping students with basic knowledge about the traditional culture and history of the nation. In particular, many schools have organized experience sessions for students to participate in Xoan singing with artisans.

Ms. Duong Thi Binh - Vice Principal of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted said: In the curriculum, the school has set aside a certain number of lessons in the Music subject, integrated into elective classes, group activities or extracurricular activities to teach Xoan singing. After the students finish their semester exams, the school will organize for students to participate in filming a video introducing Xoan singing in English for foreign tourists at the two locations above. To date, about 170 students have registered to participate in this program.
As an educational institution that integrates many classroom teaching activities with cultural heritage education, Viet Tri High School has innovated many teaching methods, linking theory with practice, which is considered the clearest evidence for the model of "School associated with heritage". The school organized for 1,000 students in grades 10 and 11 to experience Xoan singing with the original Xoan artists at Lai Len Temple. In addition to learning and interacting with Xoan singing, students also experienced competitions to learn about heritage; fostering in them a love for their homeland, a sense of learning and applying what they have learned to contribute to preserving heritage.
Teacher Pham Thi Thu Huyen - Principal of Viet Tri High School shared: Right from the beginning of the year, the school has built a curriculum based on local education content and organized career orientation activities associated with Xoan singing. From now until the end of the school year, the school will continue to organize for students to visit the Hung Vuong Museum. Here, students will be introduced to the history and costumes by museum guides and Xoan artists and directly practice the UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

As one of the leading schools in organizing the teaching, experience and performance of Xoan singing, Gia Cam Primary School, Viet Tri city has a lot of experience in organizing and implementing by building a teaching plan right from the beginning of the school year. In addition to teaching singing in music class, the school also includes extracurricular activities and education outside of class hours. Up to now, 100% of students in all classes have learned and studied Xoan singing; in which, students from grade 2 are required to know more than five ancient Xoan songs. The school's Xoan singing club was established in the 2015-2016 school year and always has about 100 students participating. The club regularly exchanges with ancient Xoan guilds in the city, residential areas, exchanges Xoan singing at all levels, and performs to celebrate political events of the province, city and education sector. Through that, students develop many soft skills, confidence and awareness of preserving and passing on heritage.
100% of schools in the province have included Xoan singing in their educational programs through the Music subject and extracurricular programs with appropriate Xoan songs; about 50% of educational institutions have established school-level Xoan singing clubs.
Organizing experiential sessions associated with Xoan singing not only increases the practicality of teaching, but is also an effective method to educate students about traditions. Through exchange activities, students have developed many soft skills, but above all, self-confidence, skills to integrate with the community and awareness of preserving and passing on the Xoan singing heritage.
