From August 26-31, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized training and professional development for tour guides in Ba Thuoc district.
Students participate in training programs to improve their skills as adventure tour guides.
The program has 50 participants from the community and tour guides (with tour guide cards) in Ba Thuoc district.
The training and professional development program focuses on a number of contents including: characteristics and needs of sports and adventure tourists; characteristics of sports and adventure tour guides; professional skills in guiding sports and adventure tours through the forest (including a number of skills such as: walking, explaining trekking tours, climbing with and without ropes, crossing terrain with water sources and using support equipment on water, some basic survival principles and skills, organizing recreational activities in the forest...); principles and requirements for organizing, managing and guiding sports and adventure tourism programs...

Within the framework of the training program, lecturers, experts and students surveyed trekking tour spots in Ba Thuoc district.
Along with that, students also practice skills and techniques of guiding trekking tours and handling some situations that often occur during the process of guiding this tour.

According to the plan, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa will continue to organize professional training for tour guides in Quan Hoa and Thuong Xuan districts in September 2024.
