Training on livestock farming techniques and launching of professional farmers association

On April 29, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with the Cam Khe District Farmers' Association to organize a training conference on livestock farming techniques and launch a professional farmer association on biosafety chicken farming in 2025 in Minh Thang commune, Cam Khe district.

Farmers participating in the model were given training on chicken farming techniques by lecturers from Hung Vuong University.

Representatives of the Provincial and District Farmers' Associations presented flowers to congratulate the launch of the poultry farming association in Minh Thang commune, Cam Khe district.

The Minh Thang Commune Biosafety Chicken Farmer Association has 15 members and was established with the aim of helping members develop their potential and strengths in the field of chicken farming to develop the family economy and increase income. Members operate according to the principle of "5 self, 5 together" which are self-awareness, voluntariness, autonomy, self-management, self-responsibility; having the same direction in the field of production and business, the same concerns, sharing, taking responsibility and enjoying together.

Representatives of the Provincial Farmers' Association handed over animal feed materials and biological products to members participating in the branch.

Delegates visited the booth to introduce, display and connect to consume OCOP products.

At the conference, farmers were given training on techniques for raising and caring for chickens at each stage by lecturers from Hung Vuong University. This helped farmers access new science and technology, organize livestock production in the direction of biosafety, sustainable development and replicate the model to bring high productivity, good meat quality, meet the demand for clean and safe food for consumers and contribute to improving environmental protection standards. At the same time, the Provincial Farmers' Association handed over materials including 2,250 kg of animal feed and biological products to members participating in the model.

On this occasion, delegates also visited the booth introducing, displaying and connecting to consume OCOP products, typical agricultural products of members and farmers of Cam Khe district in Minh Thang commune.
