
According to a report by the Provincial People's Committee in April 2025, the zoning plan (1/2000) for the Nam Hoi An Resort area was approved with an area of 1,017.5 hectares (985 hectares for the project and 32.2 hectares for connecting infrastructure). The implementation of the plan has achieved many positive results.
The planning announcement and demarcation work has been completed; detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 has been implemented on 161 hectares (16.3%); and land clearance has reached over 500.4 hectares (50.8%). Phase 1 (125 hectares) has completed items such as the main boulevard, commercial area, casino, hotel, Hoiana Shores golf course, and technical infrastructure, achieving 12.6% of the total project.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung concluded that adjusting the planning is necessary and is a very important "assignment" to guide the development of businesses and localities.
According to Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung, as confirmed by relevant departments and reports from the Department of Construction, the provincial procedures have been completed and need to be incorporated into the planning task. The investor needs to take note and implement the plan accordingly. The deadline for submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution is June 28th at the latest.
