Focus on inspection in areas prone to negativity and violations.

(Chinhphu.vn) - Recently, the Government Inspectorate has focused on inspecting and examining areas prone to negativity and violations such as basic construction investment, land management and use. The Inspectorate has discovered and recommended strict handling of violations of the law.

The Government Inspectorate said that in the first 6 months of 2025, in the field of basic construction investment alone, 308 inspections were conducted, and 225 inspections were completed and conclusions were issued.

Through inspection of 483 units, the Government Inspectorate discovered violations with the amount of 132 billion VND. Of which, it recommended recovering 85 billion VND; recommended other handling of 47 billion VND; recommended administrative handling of 106 organizations and 321 individuals and transferred 3 cases to the investigation agency for handling.

In the field of land management and use, 358 inspections were conducted, of which 159 were completed and conclusions were issued.

Through inspection, 383 units discovered violations with the amount of over 64 billion VND, 669 hectares of land; proposed to recover 26 billion VND, 616 hectares of land; proposed to handle other matters 39 billion VND, 52 hectares of land; proposed to handle administratively 73 organizations, 227 individuals and at the same time transferred to the investigation agency to handle 8 cases, 1 subject.

The inspection work is conducted with focus and key points, concentrating on inspecting state management work in areas prone to negativity, violations and causing public outrage, especially surprise inspections under the direction of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, Waste and Negativity.

A typical example is the inspection conducted by the Government Inspectorate on the two construction projects of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Hospital. The inspection results were highly appreciated by the Steering Committee, the General Secretary , the Government, the Prime Minister and public opinion.

Through inspection activities, shortcomings and loopholes in management, direction, operation and in the promulgation of policies and laws have been corrected and overcome. At the same time, violations of the law have been detected and recommended for strict handling, ensuring objectivity, accuracy and compliance with the law.

The results of inspection work have changed dramatically, continuing to make important contributions to the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity.
