Khanh Hoa recommends that Phuc Son's projects continue to be implemented.

On October 25, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Le Huyen - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee - said that he had sent a report to the Provincial Party Committee on the results and progress of removing difficulties and obstacles for projects in the province, including projects of Phuc Son Group.

Proposal to remove difficulties and obstacles of Phuc Son projects

According to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, there are 3 stuck projects waiting to be implemented according to the conclusions of the investigation agency and the court's verdict, including: roads, traffic intersections connecting Nha Trang airport area, belt road connecting Ngoc Hoi traffic intersection, Ngoc Hoi intersection.

These are projects implemented under the form of BT contracts signed with Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company, a unit related to the case currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Ministry of National Defense .

After the prosecution agencies have handled the case according to the law, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province proposed that the Steering Committee for resolving difficulties and problems of backlogged projects (Steering Committee 751, established by the Prime Minister - PV) allow the application of the project's viewpoints and principles to resolve difficulties and problems for these projects according to the plan to approve the project to continue to carry out the next procedures.

The province proposed that Steering Committee 751 assign the Ministry of National Defense to review and submit to the Prime Minister for approval a plan to rearrange and handle the old Nha Trang airport's housing and land facilities, based on legal regulations.

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also proposed to assign the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with the Ministry of National Defense to carry out procedures according to regulations to submit to the Prime Minister for approval of land allocation and land lease plans for investors to have a legal basis for payment and settlement of BT projects.

Responsible for handling the remaining land area after payment for BT projects in accordance with approved planning, land use plans, and urban planning; organizing the implementation of recommendations in the inspection conclusion, especially determining land prices to pay for the above BT projects in accordance with legal regulations.

Early handling of Bavico Nha Trang hotel assets

According to Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the Bach Viet Hotel project (Bavico) has been completed, is currently inactive and is in the process of executing the judgment under the authority of the Ministry of National Defense.

The Provincial People's Committee has sent a document to the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region 5 Command to coordinate with relevant agencies and departments, branches and localities of Khanh Hoa province to soon have a plan to resolve and handle the assets of Bavico Nha Trang Hotel according to the law.

Regarding the Song Lo tourism and entertainment project, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has issued an official dispatch reporting and recommending the Government Inspectorate to conduct an inspection.

The Government Office has announced the conclusion of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh on removing difficulties and obstacles for projects in the province, in which it agreed to assign the Government Inspectorate to urgently conduct an inspection of this project, soon have a conclusion to remove obstacles and release development resources for the project.

The Government Inspectorate is in the process of collecting records and documents related to the project.

For the group of BT projects, to remove difficulties, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee also recommended that Steering Committee 751 direct central ministries and branches to soon advise the National Assembly to issue a resolution on handling and removing difficulties and obstacles for BT projects.

At the same time, direct central ministries and branches to promptly advise on amending and supplementing regulations on land use for payment for BT projects.
