During the same three-year period (2020-2022) when it recorded the highest tax payments in Vietnam, TCBS aimed to be a pioneer in digitalization to optimize customer experience. TCBS pursued a business model different from traditional securities companies by not employing brokers but instead investing in core fintech capabilities and focusing on customer experience.
The implementation of the Zero Fee transaction policy, free selection of attractive account numbers, and the most attractive margin loan rates on the market, starting from only 7.89%/year for customers who have never taken out a loan at TCBS, has helped the company's securities brokerage market share continue to accelerate spectacularly, climbing to the Top 3 securities companies with the largest stock brokerage market share at 6.56% on the HoSE exchange and Top 2 (7.8%) on the HNX exchange. TCBS leads the market in outstanding margin loans at the end of Q1/2024 with VND 19,087 billion, an increase of 107% compared to the same period in 2023.
