On December 17, in Ho Chi Minh City, the announcement and drawing ceremony for the qualifying round of the 3rd Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament - 2025 THACO Cup (TNSV THACO Cup 2025) took place. THACO is the main sponsor of the tournament.

The Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament is an annual activity organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Football Federation. This year, the tournament attracted 67 universities, colleges and academies nationwide to register to participate, along with new adjustments to the tournament regulations. In particular, each team is allowed to register up to 3 students who are regular players who have participated in national U.19 and U.21 tournaments, contributing to increasing the professionalism and attractiveness of the matches.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Mot - Senior Director in charge of Culture - Communications THACO said: "I believe that in every person's life, there are two things that make us wait anxiously: the time to meet a lover and the time to watch football. That shows that football has become an indispensable part of life, bringing emotions that only love can do. Football is the control of anger and the sublimation of emotions. Balancing these two things is very difficult, like water and fire, ice and cotton, because anger is instinct, control is courage, and managing emotions also requires reason. Football helps each person practice courage and create sublime moments".
“THACO always focuses on the youth because the strength of the nation lies in the youth. In particular, students are the core force, the greatest asset of the nation. Youth is an asset and students are the core of that asset. In addition to studying, students need a playground to practice their courage, promote their emotions and express their creativity. Football is the ideal playground to realize that,” Mr. Nguyen Mot added.
Following the success of the previous two seasons, THACO will continue to coordinate with the Vietnam Football Federation and Thanh Nien Newspaper to organize the 2025 International Youth Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup, taking place in March 2025 at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.
