Consulting on the development of a project to innovate, improve the quality and efficiency of the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations

On the morning of December 11th, the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations (hereinafter referred to as the Union of Associations) held a consultation conference to develop a project entitled "Innovating the content and methods, improving the quality and effectiveness of the Union of Associations' activities until 2030, with a vision to 2045".

Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations, Nguyen Van Phat, delivered the opening speech.

The draft plan sets out the general goal for 2030: to build the Union of Associations into a strong socio -political organization of the scientific and technological intellectuals of Thanh Hoa province – a reliable address for the Party Committee and government in mobilizing intellectuals; representing the will and aspirations of the scientific and technological intellectuals; and being an important factor contributing to making science and technology a real breakthrough in socio-economic development. By 2045, it aims to become a strong socio-political organization on par with other socio-political organizations; and simultaneously outlines key tasks and solutions for the development of the Union of Associations.

Overview of the conference.

At the conference, delegates discussed and contributed many ideas to develop a draft plan that is suitable to the actual conditions and highly feasible. The focus was on building the Union of Associations into a strong socio-political organization of the scientific and technological intellectuals of Thanh Hoa province, a reliable address for the Party Committee and government in mobilizing intellectuals; improving the quality and effectiveness of professional activities; proactively advising, proposing tasks, and effectively carrying out consulting, critical analysis, and social assessment activities, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

Based on the contributions of the delegates, the Union of Associations will synthesize, supplement, and further refine the proposal. Also at the conference, the Union of Associations implemented Decree 126/2024/ND-CP, dated October 8, 2024, of the Prime Minister, which regulates the organization, operation, and management of associations.
