The conference announced Resolution 140 dated February 12, 2025, of the Hiep Duc District People's Council on the establishment of specialized agencies under the District People's Committee and decisions of the District People's Committee on personnel matters.
Accordingly, the Department of Internal Affairs was established by merging the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Internal Affairs. Mr. Vo Van Khoi was appointed Head of the Department from February 19, 2025 until his retirement as stipulated.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment was established by taking over the functions and tasks of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; the functions and tasks of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; and the functions and tasks related to poverty reduction from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. Mr. Nguyen Tan Nghiep was appointed Head of the Department from February 19, 2025, for a term of 5 years.
The Department of Economy , Infrastructure and Urban Development was established by taking over the functions and tasks of advising on state management of construction, transportation, and industry and trade from the Department of Economy and Infrastructure. Mr. Tran Tho was appointed Head of the Department from February 19, 2025 until his retirement as stipulated.
The Department of Culture, Science and Information was established by taking over the functions and tasks of the Department of Culture and Sports and the functions and tasks related to science and technology from the Department of Economy and Infrastructure. Mr. Nguyen Hong Son was appointed Head of the Department from February 19, 2025, for a term of 5 years.
After the reorganization, the structure of specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Hiep Duc consists of 9 agencies (a reduction of 2 agencies).
The conference also announced the decision of the Executive Committee of the Hiep Duc District Party Committee on the establishment of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. Mr./Ms. Nguyen Van Luyen, Mr. Ngo Dinh Tri, and Ms. Phan Thi My Tu were appointed as Deputy Heads of the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
The conference also announced the decision to establish Party branches and appoint Party committees, secretaries, and deputy secretaries; and simultaneously announced the dissolution of 5 Party branches directly under the District Party Committee from February 19, 2025.
