Establishment of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd.

On August 1st, Comrade Phung Khanh Tai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for building and developing Party and mass organizations in non-state enterprises of the province - attended the ceremony to announce the decision to establish the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Khanh Tai and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department Bui Dinh Thi presented a flower basket to congratulate the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Also attending were Comrade Bui Dinh Thi - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for building and developing Party and mass organizations in non-state enterprises in the province; leaders of the Provincial Enterprise Bloc Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Provincial Youth Union, and leaders of Cam Khe district.

YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in 2016 and officially started production in May 2018, with a total investment of over US$22.5 million, specializing in garment manufacturing for export. To date, the company has 36 sewing lines, providing employment for nearly 5,000 workers with an average income of VND 9.5 million per person per month; in 2023, it contributed over VND 49 billion to the state budget. The company established a trade union in 2018 and a Party Committee in October 2022.

The Cam Khe District Youth Union presented the decision to establish the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Based on surveys and assessments of the company's situation, which shows a large proportion of workers are of Youth Union age, and with the approval of the Standing Committee of the Cam Khe District Party Committee and the consensus of the company's leadership, the Cam Khe District Youth Union decided to establish a Youth Union organization at YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd., under the Cam Khe District Youth Union, with 110 members; and appointed an Executive Committee of 9 members. YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise in Cam Khe district that has established Party and mass organizations.

Welcome performance

This is a significant milestone in the company's development, creating favorable conditions for union members to both work and participate in union activities without affecting production and business operations. This is also an effort by Cam Khe district to further concretize the policy of building Party and union organizations in non-state enterprises in the province by 2025, as stipulated in Resolution No. 50 of the Provincial Party Committee.

After its establishment, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of YI DA Vietnam Co., Ltd. will strengthen the unity and mobilization of young people, create a favorable environment for youth union members to study, train, and compete in labor and production; promote the work of fostering political , ideological, moral, and lifestyle education for youth union members in the Company to build a strong Youth Union organization, contributing to achieving the Company's production and business goals and promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
