Specifically, hotels in the city center have almost reached peak occupancy. From April 27 to May 1, room occupancy at 1- to 5-star hotels in the city center reached 95-100%. Many 4- to 5-star hotels were fully booked. Hotels in neighboring areas also reached 80% occupancy or more, especially during the two peak days of April 30 and May 1, when many places were "sold out".

Not only stopping at accommodation services, hotels and restaurants also proactively organize many solemn and meaningful activities: hanging national flags, hanging banners welcoming the Great Ceremony at the facade and lobby area, showing propaganda images, posting messages of gratitude to history on online platforms.
Many hotels have set up areas to record feelings and arrange guestbooks for guests to write by hand, creating a quiet space where personal emotions are shared and spread.
In addition to symbolic activities such as hanging flags, banners and displaying OCOP products, many hotels have proactively connected with local artisans to organize cultural experiences right on the premises such as making figurines, writing calligraphy, and performing traditional musical instruments.

Some hotels also set up a space to screen documentary films about the Liberation of the South, free of charge for guests staying in the evenings from April 28 to May 1. Meanwhile, inner-city tourism and historical tours “exploded” during the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year. According to BestPrice, the number of customers booking air tickets to Ho Chi Minh City between April 29 and May 4 increased 3 times; inner-city tours doubled compared to 2024.
Vietluxtour Company recorded a 50% increase in the total number of visitors to Ho Chi Minh City, with a 25% increase in group and corporate visitors. Tours such as “Heroic Unification” and “Return to the Steel Land” were well received.

Viet Travel Company alone said that its growth during the April 30 and May 1 holidays reached 20%, with 58% of customers choosing domestic travel. Vietravel and Saigontourist recorded a stable number of customers, but demand for travel within the city was high thanks to the attraction of large-scale commemorative events.
In addition to popular tours, businesses also deploy many highly interactive products such as the tour themed “Tunnel Exploration – Return to the Land of Steel”, where visitors can personally crawl into tunnels, eat rice balls and wear soldier uniforms.
