For specialized grade 10 admission, Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted leads in specialized subject admission scores with Biology at 38.75 points for the first choice and 39 points for the second choice. Also at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, the highest integrated admission score is 34.75 points for the first choice and 35 points for the second choice.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City has nearly 7,050 candidates registered for the 10th grade specialized exam. Meanwhile, there are only more than 1,600 enrollment quotas for 10th grade specialized students in high schools including: Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (District 5), Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted (District 1), Gia Dinh High School (Binh Thanh District), Nguyen Thuong Hien High School (Tan Binh District), Nguyen Huu Huan High School (Thu Duc City) and Mac Dinh Chi High School (District 6).
