Removing obstacles for projects and land under investigation

The meeting was held on the afternoon of September 19 and was chaired by Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha.

The Resolution on specific mechanisms and policies to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in a number of provinces and cities, under the direction of the Politburo, will be submitted to the National Assembly at the 8th session of the 15th tenure.

At the meeting, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized the need to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the inspection, examination and judgment conclusions in a number of provinces and cities in order to bring resources from these projects into life, serving socio-economic development.

He asked delegates to focus on discussing and analyzing whether the solutions and big ideas presented in the draft resolution meet practical requirements.

According to the report of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the draft resolution has groups of policies to handle issues including: land use term when granting certificates of land use rights for production and business with a term of 50 years in Da Nang city; land allocation and land lease without auctioning land use rights, not bidding to select investors to implement projects using land...

Each policy group will propose solutions and options for specific projects and groups of projects.

Concluding the meeting, the two deputy prime ministers stated that this is a resolution of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies to handle projects and land in a number of provinces and cities.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment closely coordinates with relevant ministries, branches and localities to urgently receive, review and complete the draft resolution dossier to submit to the National Assembly.

The two Deputy Prime Ministers said that this is the first step in piloting the removal of difficulties and obstacles for projects and land in the conclusions of inspections, examinations, and judgments under the direction of the Politburo. Localities need to continue to review, synthesize, and report to competent authorities on projects and land with similar situations to propose further solutions.
