The Beatles used AI to complete their final song

Singer Paul McCartney recently confirmed that he used artificial intelligence technology to extract the voice of the late singer John Lennon (who died in an assassination in 1980) from an old recording. Through that, Paul and the remaining members of The Beatles were able to complete the group's final song with John Lennon's voice processed by AI. "We just finished it and will release it soon this year," said Mr. McCartney.

Accordingly, John Lennon's voice was extracted from a low-quality cassette tape. Paul did not reveal the name of the song used by AI, but many predicted that it would be a composition by Lennon himself in 1978 - two years before his death. The song, called Now And Then, was likened to a "reunion" of The Beatles in 1995 when they compiled a series of films about their career.

The original recording, which was distorted by the sound of the switchboard, was part of a demo tape recorded in the late singer's New York apartment. Two other tracks from this tape, titled Free as a Bird and Real Love, were released in the 1990s with the remaining members.

The Beatles had tried to record Now And Then , but the plan failed because guitarist George Harrison did not approve. Yoko Ono, Lennon's wife, sent McCartney a demo recording of one of the many songs on the For Paul collection that her husband had made before his death.
