The management board of CT1 Thach Ban building has just announced a temporary suspension of receiving electric motorbikes and electric bicycles for the management board and residents living here.

Accordingly, from December 20, 2025, the CT1 building operator will temporarily stop receiving and storing additional electric vehicles until further notice. Electric motorbikes and electric bicycles previously registered to be stored on the first floor of the building will continue to be stored.

For residents who have new parking needs, the Management Board recommends registering in the waiting book on the 1st floor. After that, the building management board will notify again based on the registration order and reception capacity, and at the same time suggest that residents proactively find an alternative solution during the suspension period.

Regarding the reason, the building management board said that the parking capacity is currently overloaded, exceeding the design limit, causing difficulties in arranging vehicles. According to the subdivision, the number of electric vehicle parking spaces on the first floor is only about 25 but now has reached 60 vehicles. This makes it difficult to arrange and arrange the next vehicles.

In addition, the building management board found that parking and charging electric vehicles posed a potential risk of fire safety. Meanwhile, the building does not have a separate planning area that ensures safety standards and techniques for parking and charging electric vehicles, nor does it have specialized fire-fighting equipment for electric bicycles and electric motorbikes using lithium-ion batteries.

After issuing the above notice, the Building Management Board reported to the Board of Directors and the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Force about the above situation to study and guide the planning of a separate electric vehicle parking and charging area that meets safety standards in the coming time.

Previously, in Hoang Liet ward (Hanoi), the Management Board of HH Linh Dam apartment building temporarily stopped accepting new registrations for electric motorbikes and electric bicycles from December 2025, vehicles that were registered before this time will still be served. But from February 1, 2026, the parking of electric vehicles in the basement will be completely stopped.

The above decision of the Management Board of HH Linh Dam Apartment has caused many mixed opinions, many residents agreed but some also opposed. After that, the People's Committee of Hoang Liet Ward requested the Management Board of HH Linh Dam Apartment to cancel this decision because it violated the provisions in Clause 1 and Point a Clause 2 Article 144 of the Housing Law 2023.
