Contestant from Indonesia Ketut Permata Juliastrid was officially crowned Miss Cosmo 2024, an international beauty award of Vietnam, taking place for the first year.
Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari, 21 years old, from Bali, Indonesia, surpassed more than 50 contestants from many countries and territories with her beauty, skills and excellent presentation and eloquence, especially demonstrated through the final night.
Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari is 1.73 m tall and was the second runner-up of Miss Puteri Indonesia 2024. She studied Applied Design at the Bali Institute of Design and Business in Denpasar. Before that, she studied Management at Udayana University. The beauty is also a professional model in her home country.
The runner-up position of Miss Cosmo 2024 belongs to Thai beauty Mook Karnruethai Tassabut, 29 years old, a model and MC who is bilingual in Thai and English. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Silpakorn University.
Vietnamese representative Bui Xuan Hanh stopped at the top 5 final position, and also won the Best Evening Gown award.
The remaining beauties in the top 5 include representatives from Peru and the United States.
The final night included swimsuit and evening gown performances and a question-and-answer session. The two finalists, Thailand and Indonesia, took part in the speech round. The two contestants presented their community projects and asked each other questions about their views on current social issues.
