These are also the only children's clothing products featured in the Vietnam Goods Week 2023 program, co-organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade , the Hanoi People's Committee, in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, and Aeon Group, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.

Ms. Luu Le Thuy, owner of the Haki brand, shared that Haki's presence in Japan and the high praise from Japanese partners for Haki's designs are truly a source of pride.

When mentioning products of Japanese origin, one immediately thinks of "quality." The Japanese are renowned for their meticulousness, attention to detail, and thoroughness in selecting products. "Making quality products, paying meticulous attention to every detail, and always 'thinking of the user' when designing products… has been Haki's operating principle since its inception," said Ms. Luu Le Thuy.

Designed from natural and high-quality materials such as bamboo fabric, modal fabric, linen, and silk, Haki products are soft, lightweight, breathable, environmentally friendly, and especially suitable for the delicate skin of newborns. Haki is a combination of the English words "Happy" and "Kids," meaning happy children. Ms. Thuy says she hopes to contribute to caring for babies alongside parents, ensuring they are always comfortable, happy, and joyful wearing safe, soft, and comfortable clothing.

After many years working for a large telecommunications corporation, five years ago, Ms. Luu Le Thuy decided to start her own business selling children's clothing. Explaining this career change, Ms. Thuy said that during her years of volunteer work at the VEMBA5 charity foundation, she had the opportunity to travel to various mountainous provinces in Northern Vietnam to donate gifts to preschool children and noticed that most Vietnamese children were wearing low-quality clothing.

"Having had a passion for sewing since childhood, I decided to quit my job to start a business selling children's clothing, with the burning desire to contribute to providing babies with breathable, safe, and soft clothes. In particular, I aspire to make mothers with young children aware that choosing safe clothing is just as important as choosing safe food for their children," Ms. Thuy shared.

Although established for nearly 5 years, Haki has weathered the pandemic for two years and the following year with a global economic recession, which severely impacted the textile industry. "Business has been incredibly difficult, but I have persevered in pursuing my dream: the dream of a day when every baby across Vietnam can wear high-quality, soft, and safe clothing."

The Vietnam Trade Week 2023 in Japan was one of the large-scale activities organized in 2023 to implement the Ministry of Industry and Trade's "Project to promote Vietnamese businesses' direct participation in foreign distribution systems by 2030," as well as aiming to bring the export value of Vietnamese goods into the Aeon system to 1 billion USD by 2025. Through the Project, many Vietnamese products meeting high Japanese standards have been imported by Aeon and are being sold in hundreds of supermarkets within the Aeon system.

In September 2020, Haki launched in the Canadian market and received a positive response from consumers there. The Guardian, a major Canadian newspaper, reported on the brand's arrival as an inevitable trend – the trend of eco -friendly fashion and sustainable living.

Appreciating the opportunity to introduce Vietnamese garment products at Aeon Mall, Ms. Thuy said that Haki will reassess the current situation and resources, and then plan to prepare for its "entry" into the Japanese market.
