Prime Minister encourages workers constructing 500 kV power line in Thanh Hoa

The 500 kV transmission line project, circuit 3, from Pho Noi, Hung Yen province to Quang Trach, Quang Binh province, has a total length of approximately 519 km and a total investment of approximately VND 22,356 billion. The project comprises four sub-projects: Quang Trach - Quynh Luu; Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa; Thanh Hoa - Nam Dinh 1 Thermal Power Plant; and Nam Dinh 1 Thermal Power Plant - Pho Noi. The sub-projects commenced in October 2023 and January 2024, respectively.

At the Thanh Hoa 500 kV Transformer Station construction site (Thieu Phuc commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh commended and highly appreciated the efforts of contractors, staff, engineers and a large number of workers and laborers who worked in "3 shifts, 4 shifts" regardless of the sun and rain, all for the goal of this key project.

The target set by the Government is about to be reached, so Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes that contractors, engineers and workers will continue to make more efforts to speed up the progress and complete the plan as planned.

Reporting to the Prime Minister, the Central Power Project Management Board said that up to now, the items have been constructed synchronously and in a rolling manner, each item will be accepted as it is completed. The units have mobilized about 500 workers to continuously construct, striving to complete the power connection on schedule according to the Prime Minister's direction.

Under the extreme heat of the Central region, at the construction site, the Prime Minister talked, encouraged and gave gifts to engineers, workers, laborers and support forces (youth union, reinforcements from the South, people...) who joined hands, made active contributions and assistance to contractors and construction units for the country's key goals.

On the same afternoon, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation also inspected and visited engineers and workers at the foundation site of column No. 117 (Hau Loc district, Thanh Hoa province).
