Promoting connectivity between Hanoi, Ha Nam and provinces in the Northern key economic region

On the evening of December 28, the exhibition space, promotion and introduction of the potential and connection opportunities between Hanoi, Ha Nam and provinces in the Northern Key Economic Region - Connecting for Development - "Link to Grow" officially opened.

The program is organized by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion from December 27-30, 2023 at the front hall of the Ha Nam Provincial Cultural House, Tran Phu Street, Quang Trung Ward, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Bui Duy Quang, Deputy Director of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of Hanoi City said: The exhibition space, promotion and introduction of the potential and connection opportunities between Hanoi, Ha Nam and the provinces in the Northern key economic region is organized to promote cooperation activities, investment promotion, trade and tourism between Hanoi city and the provinces in the Northern key economic region in general and Ha Nam province in particular.

The program is also an opportunity for businesses, cooperatives, and production establishments in Hanoi and other provinces and cities nationwide to promote and introduce products, promote exchanges and cooperation; exchange and learn experiences, seek and expand markets, distribution systems, and product consumption; connect and seek business cooperation opportunities, thereby attracting investors to do business, invest and develop the local economy.

The Space Area has an area of about 2,500 m², with 80 booths, including: Space for promoting and introducing achievements, potentials, and investment environment; Space for displaying, introducing, and promoting strong, typical, and characteristic products of Hanoi, Ha Nam, and provinces in the Northern Key Economic Zone with specialty products, OCOP-recognized products, handicrafts, agricultural products, etc. Gifts brought to the Exhibition include a variety of products from famous traditional craft villages in Hanoi such as Ha Thai lacquer, embroidery, Thuong Tin fine art wooden furniture, Thuy Ung jewelry horns, etc.

In addition, the event also has a space to introduce and promote tourism, culture, attractive tourist destinations, new tourism products, tours that bring new experiences of Hanoi city; in particular, there is a connection of heritage to develop tourism between Hanoi and Ha Nam through real-life experience tours connecting heritage such as: Hanoi - Tam Chuc Pagoda - Tran Thuong Temple, Hanoi - Tam Chuc Pagoda - Dia Tang Phi Lai Pagoda,...

Especially at the Exhibition Space, promoting and introducing the potential and connection opportunities between Hanoi and the provinces of the Northern Key Economic Zone, the Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Nam province participated in more than 20 booths introducing typical, featured products, branded products, recognized as OCOP 3-5* of enterprises, production facilities, and districts in Ha Nam province.

The space also attracts the participation of businesses from provinces and cities across the country such as: Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh Phuc, Son La, Quang Ninh, Yen Bai, Phu Yen, ... bringing a variety of products, OCOP certified products are typical local specialties such as: honey, longan, canned vegetables and fruits, dried cordyceps sinensis, freeze-dried pennywort powder, green tea, black tea, soluble perilla powder, black garlic, polygonum multiflorum, turmeric, black seeds, milk, fish sauce, fish floss, shrimp....

This is a practical program to promote cooperation activities, investment promotion, trade, tourism, agriculture between Hanoi city and provinces in the Northern key economic region in general and Ha Nam province in particular, along with other provinces and cities across the country. Through that, the program aims to promote and introduce enterprises, cooperatives, production establishments in Hanoi city and provinces and cities across the country to promote and introduce products, promote exchanges and cooperation; exchange and learn experiences, seek and expand markets, distribution systems, and product consumption; connect and seek business cooperation opportunities, thereby attracting investors to do business, invest and develop the local economy, contributing to building Hanoi city and Ha Nam province to become a highlight in the development of trade and key tourism in the provinces of the Northern key economic region.
