Many fans noticed that the two beauty queens haven't appeared together since August 2023. On her personal Instagram page, Miss World Vietnam 2019 was spotted deleting photos of herself with First Runner-up Phuong Nhi.

Following these rumors, Sen Vàng – the management company of the two beauties – issued a response. The company affirmed that this information is false and urged viewers to be discerning when receiving information.
Regarding the reason for Luong Thuy Linh deleting photos of herself with Phuong Nhi, her management company stated that the beauty queen was "cleaning up" her personal page to build an image that suits her current style. While she was selecting and hiding old photos, some moments taken with Phuong Nhi were unintentionally removed, resulting in the loss of photos of the two together. These decisions were made in consultation with the company and the individuals involved.
Regarding Luong Thuy Linh's action of re-releasing shared photos amidst rumors, the company stated: "Miss Luong Thuy Linh and Runner-up Nguyen Phuong Nhi still maintain good feelings for each other and there is no conflict or disagreement. However, after feeling the love from fans for both of them in recent days, Luong Thuy Linh has allowed some posts to be displayed again."
The management company denied any conflict between the two beauties.
Before the rumors broke, Miss Luong Thuy Linh and Runner-up Phuong Nhi had a close relationship. They frequently appeared together at events, practically inseparable.
Phuong Nhi also admitted that one of the reasons she registered for Miss World Vietnam was being inspired by Miss Luong Thuy Linh. After becoming the first runner-up, she had the opportunity to meet her idol.
