At 7:00 a.m. on October 13, receiving orders from superiors, the mobile organization received a patient who was a fisherman (according to the preliminary diagnosis of Tien Nu Island's military doctor) with cholecystitis. Ship 418 operated, maneuvered, approached fishing boat QNg 95267 TS at 9:00 a.m. on October 13, picked up the patient and brought him aboard for safe care. Accompanying the patient was professional military Major Hoang Ngoc Chinh, military doctor of Tien Nu Island.

The patient's name is Nguyen Phu Quoc, born in 1980, hometown Vinh An village, Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son, Quang Ngai , traveling on fishing boat QNg 95267 TS captained by Mr. Tran Van Dan, born in 1968, hometown Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son, Quang Ngai, the boat departed on September 3 from Binh Thanh fishing port, there were 24 people on the fishing boat, the boat was fishing for squid.

Previously, patient Nguyen Phu Quoc, while working at sea, had abdominal cramps in the right hypochondrium and ribs. At 10:55 a.m. on October 12, the patient was taken to Tien Nu Island for emergency treatment by fishermen. After examination, the patient had a fever of 38 degrees, pulse of 88 beats/minute, blood pressure of 140/80 mmHg. A preliminary diagnosis of acute cholecystitis was made. Antibiotics, pain relievers, anti-secretion and muscle relaxants were administered, and the fisherman was reported for referral to a higher level of treatment.

After bringing the patient onto the ship, the medical team of Ship 418 performed first aid and provided special health care to the victim, whose health was poor. At 7:00 p.m., Ship 418 approached Sinh Ton Island and handed over the patient to the island for treatment and emergency care according to regulations.
