Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province Ho Van Mung spoke at the conference.

At the An Giang provincial bridge, the meeting was chaired by Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung; Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc.

At the conference, the Government Party Committee's report on the implementation of Resolution 18-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022 of the 5th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and perfect institutions and policies, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of land management and use, creating momentum to turn our country into a high-income developed country and major orientations to overcome difficulties, limitations, obstacles and shortcomings in the implementation process were approved. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment reported on the assessment of the implementation of the Land Law in 2024 and the orientation to amend the Land Law.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung agreed with the content of the reports presented at the conference. At the same time, the report summarized the effectiveness, feasibility and issues arising in practice when implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW and the Land Law 2024 in An Giang; proposed amendments and supplements to the Land Law, in order to further improve the legal framework on land, meet the requirements of socio-economic development in the new period to ensure consistency, transparency and efficiency in land management and use, minimize disputes and complaints, and maximize land resources for sustainable development.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested central ministries, branches and local authorities to unify and complete the viewpoint on land and the system of legal documents related to land; focus on completing land use planning and plans synchronously at all levels; complete policies and regulations related to land recovery, compensation, support, resettlement, land allocation, land lease, permission to change land use purposes and scope of application of land price lists and specific land prices. At the same time, promote digital transformation, build a database in the land sector, contributing to improving the efficiency of state management, providing public services, and handling administrative procedures for people and businesses.

Regarding the proposals and recommendations of central and local ministries and branches related to Resolution 18-NQ/TW and the 2024 Land Law, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to fully absorb and synthesize them to complete the report before submitting it to competent authorities for consideration.
