He confided: "After over 60 years of performing arts in many genres such as reformed opera, drama, film, etc., this title is a great encouragement for my singing career.

It's just sad that Hue couldn't receive this honor with me. But I believe that somewhere in the world, Hue will always be with me. Perhaps, she was very happy when Hue's and my names were read to honor this time."
