Foreign investors net sold thousands of billions of a type of bank stock

News in the past trading week, foreign investors continued to maintain a strong net selling trend in the Vietnamese stock market. In total, over 5 sessions, the total net selling value reached 2,997 billion VND in the whole market.

Accordingly, MBB was the stock with the strongest net selling, with a value of 1,185 billion VND, followed by SSI (937 billion VND), VIX (470 billion VND) and HPG (277 billion VND).

Many other large-cap stocks are also under similar pressure, such as VIC (VND212 billion), CEO (VND210 billion), CTG (VND203 billion) and VCI (VND160 billion).

On the other hand,FPT is the stock that foreign investors bought the most, with a net purchase value of VND1,350 billion. Followed by VPB (VND286 billion), HDB (VND225 billion) and VRE (VND160 billion)…

Banks increase bond issuance interest rates

According to a report by the Vietnam Bond Market Association (VBMA), by the end of the third quarter of 2025, outstanding corporate bonds will reach about VND 1,270 trillion, an increase of 6% compared to the end of 2024 and equivalent to 7.4% of total outstanding credit of the entire economy .

In the third quarter, the banking sector continued to be the largest issuer with VND90,777 billion, accounting for 70.2% of the total issuance value. The real estate sector ranked second with VND27,778 billion, equivalent to 21.5%.

Although issuance value in Q3-2025 decreased compared to the same period last year, year-to-date issuance activities in the market have improved significantly, increasing 27% in value compared to 2024.

Regarding capital costs, the average issuance interest rate in the third quarter increased by 0.49 percentage points compared to the previous quarter and increased by 0.58 percentage points compared to the same period in 2024. VBMA said the increase in average interest rates mainly came from increased issuance interest rates of the banking group.

A business holds nearly 10% of Vingroup's charter capital

Vinspeed High-Speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Vinspeed) and Hung Long Real Estate Investment and Management Joint Stock Company simultaneously announced information related to the transaction of VIC shares of Vingroup Corporation.

Accordingly, Vinspeed will merge with Hung Long.

Both of these enterprises have Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vingroup Corporation, holding the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors, considered an insider involved in the transaction.

According to a report sent to the State Securities Commission and the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE), Vinspeed has received the transfer of ownership of VIC shares in the form of a business merger.

In total, Vinspeed received more than 243 million VIC shares from Hung Long, equivalent to 6.27% of Vingroup's charter capital, with a par value of more than VND2,434 billion.

After the transaction, Vinspeed holds a total of more than 379 million VIC shares, accounting for nearly 9.8% of Vingroup's charter capital.

Nearly 1,800 billion VND to expand the road to Vinh Nghiem Pagoda

The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just approved the project to upgrade and expand provincial road 293 from Bac Giang ward to the branch line to Vinh Nghiem pagoda.

The project is expected to enhance regional and area traffic connectivity, reduce traffic accidents, and promote economic development.

Vinh Nghiem Pagoda is located in the relic and scenic complex of Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac in the areas of Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong.

Vinh Nghiem Pagoda is home to more than 3,000 woodblocks from the 16th-19th centuries and was recognized by UNESCO as a world memory heritage site in the Asia-Pacific region in 2012.

The project passes through Tan Tien and Tan An wards and Bac Lung commune (Bac Ninh) with the investor being Bac Ninh Province Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board No. 1.

The road is 8.92km long, with a cross-section of 58.5m and a design speed of 80km/h. The total investment for the entire project is nearly 1,800 billion VND. Of which, compensation and resettlement support costs are more than 608 billion VND, construction costs are more than 870 billion VND...
