The traffic accident occurred at around 8am on January 22 on National Highway 1, passing through Van Gia town, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province, causing a car to be crushed and the driver to be injured.

Accordingly, at the above time, truck with license plate 29K - 046.81 driven by driver Pham Van D (33 years old, residing in Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city) was traveling on National Highway 1 in the North - South direction. When arriving at the above location, it collided with a car with license plate 79A - 186.26 driven by Mr. Phan Dinh T (59 years old, residing in Van Long commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa) traveling in the same direction.

The accident caused the car to be severely damaged, the body of the car was crushed; Mr. T was injured in the neck and was taken to the emergency room by nearby people.

On the morning of January 22, a traffic accident involving 4 cars occurred on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway, causing serious traffic congestion.

According to initial information, at around 6:00 a.m. the same day, at Km 28+500 from Dong Nai to Binh Thuan (section through Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province), an accident occurred between 4 vehicles including a tractor-trailer, truck, passenger car and car.

At the scene, all vehicles were severely damaged in the front and rear, with the car lying across the main lane. The accident left the occupants of the 16-seat car and the car stunned and scratched. At more than 8 a.m., authorities were still reconstructing the scene of the accident, causing traffic jams on the highway that stretched for more than 10km.

On the morning of January 22 (December 23), the fire prevention and fighting police force of Dong Nai Province Police extinguished a tractor trailer fire on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.

Previously, at around 4:50 a.m. the same day, a tractor with license plate 77C - 075.50 pulling a trailer carrying a container was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, heading from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai. When passing the intersection of National Highway 51 for about 8km (in the area of Binh Son Commune, Long Thanh District), the front of the vehicle suddenly caught fire.

Seeing the smoke and fire, the driver quickly pulled over to the emergency lane and called the authorities for assistance. By 5:10 a.m., the authorities had completely extinguished the fire on the trailer. The fire did not cause any casualties, but the trailer was almost completely burned, causing heavy damage.
