Reading the article about a security guard being beaten until his head was bleeding and he was unconscious just because he reminded him not to take his dog on Nguyen Hue walking street (February 27), I was stunned. How could they be so violent as to beat a 58-year-old man just because of his pet and when he was wrong?

I don’t have pets, but I don’t hate dogs and cats. Many of my friends and relatives have pets. Some have 5-6 pets at the same time, both dogs and cats.
That is their right. They are also glad that they have enough time and money to take care of their pets (to raise a pet dog costs at least 2 million VND per month for food and medicine).
The joy also comes from seeing them and their pets cuddling, caring and waiting for each other. But I have never seen them fight with anyone, insisting on protecting their pets no matter what. This makes me the happiest!
It is clear and without further discussion that the act of letting two dogs without muzzles and leashes run free on Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) by a young couple is wrong, because this place has a rule board "no walking or letting pets go". What makes me wonder is how the 26-year-old man named H. could be so aggressive and ferocious!
Reading the newspaper, I saw the security guard reminding the couple about the rules. He was just doing his job, a very basic job, to maintain and also guide people to ensure that they follow the rules in public places.

After the reminder, both sides started arguing. The time spent arguing was enough for them to calm down and think slowly. No one would get hurt if both sides were of a gentle nature. I believe so!
In this case, in my opinion, the young man was too aggressive and hooligan.
They were in the wrong. Then one mistake followed another. Each mistake was even bigger and more intense than the last. They chose to do something that, in my opinion, was inhuman. Humanity was overshadowed by love for pets.
Love of pets combined with aggression defies all laws, defies the logic of right and wrong in human relations.
The community was heartbroken when they saw a 58-year-old security guard unconscious after being beaten by a 26-year-old muscular man, but the person who beat him was "blind", unable to see, unable to see with the naked eye and unable to see in his heart.
The online community was outraged by the actions of the couple, and indignant on behalf of the guard. Everyone wanted the young man to be punished soon. At the same time, they couldn't help but wonder how the daily compassion of these people who "love dogs more than people" is expressed, is it real or not? Do they feel compassion when they see someone in trouble on the road? Do they feel compassion when they see an animal that is not theirs in trouble? Do they feel compassion when their relatives and friends are in trouble like they love their own dog? When will they truly feel compassion?
The regulation prohibiting dogs from being walked or let loose, and requiring muzzles on Nguyen Hue walking street in particular and in densely populated cities and urban areas has clearly been in place for a long time. I believe that the majority of people support the above ban and regulations related to the management of pets in public places.
I believe that anyone who loves and raises pets always wants their pets to enjoy, to live and have all their needs met, from food to health care and entertainment. Love for pets has always been a good thing, but don't be too crazy, too much to the point of considering the lives and dignity of many people around you less than your own animals.
