Tonight, April 11, the opening of the "Tam Ky" Festival

The opening ceremony was the Spring Offering Ceremony at Huong Tra communal house - a provincial historical and cultural relic, which was solemnly held. Leaders of Tam Ky city, Hoa Huong ward and the elders in Huong Tra village offered incense to commemorate and pay respect to their ancestors.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Em - a member of the Organizing Committee, this is a traditional ritual that has existed since ancient times, and has been restored and organized over the past few years, and is included in the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season" Festival program, to arouse pride, show respect for the ancestors who founded Huong Tra village and pray for national peace and prosperity, and bountiful harvests. Thereby, it meets the spiritual and cultural needs of local people and educates the young generation about the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water.

After the ceremony, the Huong Tra village festival began, including a number of traditional activities and folk games, creating a vibrant playground for local people and serving tourists to visit and experience such as demonstrations of traditional crafts such as making banh tet, banh chung, rice paper, banh xeo, Hong Lu forging, Olympic running day " Discovering Huong Tra", and chess competition.

Huong Tra Village Festival This is one of the activities to promote the image of Huong Tra Eco- tourism Village, which has just been recognized as a tourist destination by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; it is also the first activity in the program of the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025" Festival opening tonight, April 11.
