Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet stated that the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army is the strategic agency and the center for directing Party and political work in the entire army. Therefore, digital transformation and innovation in the fields of politics, ideology, organization, cadres, propaganda, mass mobilization, internal political protection, etc. are of decisive significance in maintaining the Party's responsibility of absolute and direct leadership in all aspects of the Army.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that digital transformation in Party and political work is not only the application of technology, but also the innovation of leadership thinking, organizational methods, ways of operating, capturing, analyzing and processing political information; improving the effectiveness of ideologicaleducation , cadre management, and discipline training; creating an intelligent, interconnected - secure - proactive political management ecosystem.

In order for the training conference to achieve practical results, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet requested that cadres at all levels, especially cadres in charge, must clearly understand that digital transformation is not the sole responsibility of the logistics and engineering sector, but the political responsibility of the entire army, in which political cadres must be the ones to initiate innovation and pioneer in organizing implementation. The General Department of Politics needs to promptly complete the Digital Transformation Strategy for the political sector in the Army for the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045; select key areas for immediate implementation such as digital cadre work, electronic party member records, and real-time ideological situation reports. Create specific solutions that are suitable for discipline, information security, and military security requirements; encourage the models of "Digital Political Commissar", "Electronic Political Department", "All-Army Ideological Database", etc.

Along with that, organize specialized training courses; build a team of technology experts in the political sector; create conditions for political cadres to learn and update new technologies, improve digital thinking capacity, digital leadership and innovation management. Closely combine technology and traditional values, in which the core values ​​of Party work and political work are still to uphold the revolutionary nature, political mettle, belief and fighting spirit of cadres and soldiers; must harmoniously combine innovation of tools and uphold revolutionary methods.
