Summary of the program "Accompanying Women in the Border Areas"

On November 30, Pa U Border Guard Station, Lai Chau Provincial Border Guard coordinated with the Women's Union of Thanh Ba District, Phu Tho Province to organize a conference to review the implementation of the Coordination Plan and the Program "Accompanying women in border areas" for the period 2021 - 2024.

Implementing the coordination plan and the Program "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" for the period 2021 - 2024, Pa U Border Guard Station and Thanh Ba District Women's Union regularly exchange and grasp information, especially policies related to socio -economic development, defense and security tasks in border areas; effectively coordinate in propagating and implementing the Campaign to Build "5 No, 3 Clean" Families, the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period.

Thanh Ba district leaders presented gifts to Pa U Border Guard Station

In the period of 2021 - 2024, the two units coordinated to organize 98 propaganda sessions for 5,930 female cadres and members; 50 talks on national defense and security, border and island protection for 2,700 cadres, members and women of Thanh Ba district and Pa U commune, Muong Te district, Lai Chau province; presented 3 livelihood models with a total of 70 million VND to support female members in difficult circumstances in Pa U commune and developed a cow breeding model in 2 villages of Tan Bien and Mo Chi, Pa U commune.

On this occasion, the working delegation of Thanh Ba district presented the livelihood model "Raising goats for reproduction" to support poor households in Nhu Ma village; supported the construction of "Shelter of Love" for 1 poor women's union member; presented gifts to 10 primary school students, 10 poor women's households; presented gifts to the Women's Union of Pa U commune and supported the construction of infrastructure of Pa U Border Guard Station with a total value of nearly 100 million VND.
