TOYOTA TSUSHO: Sharing opportunities, cooperating and developing together

On December 27, 2014, the Ngoi Phat Hydropower Project, the result of a collaboration between Vinaconex and Toyota Tsusho, was inaugurated and officially commenced commercial operation with all three generating units.

NGOI PHAT HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT & NGOI PHAT EXPANSION:

- Construction site: On the Ngòi Phát stream, spanning three communes: Bản Xèo, Bản Vược, and Dền Thàng, Bát Xát district, Lào Cai province.

- Technical specifications of the Ngoi Phat Hydropower Plant:

• Number of generating units: 3 units.

• Installed capacity Nlm: 72MW.

• Average annual electricity output (Eo): 313.90 million kWh/year.

On December 27, 2014, the Ngoi Phat Hydropower Project was inaugurated and all three generating units officially began commercial operation.

- Technical specifications of the expanded Ngoi Phat Plant:

• Number of generating units: 1 unit.

• Installed capacity Nlm: 12MW

• Average annual electricity output (Eo): 24.43 million kWh/year.

The Ngoi Phat Hydropower Plant added 12MW and completed power generation in 2020, raising the total capacity of the Ngoi Phat Hydropower Plant Complex to 84MW.
