This year, Vietnam has been nominated in several categories, including World's Leading Heritage Destination, World's Leading Natural Island and Beach Destination, Asia's Leading Destination, and Asia's Leading Heritage Destination.
This also marks the first time Tuyen Quang has had a destination honored by the World Tourism Awards (WTA) in the world-class cultural award category, following its merger with Ha Giang. Previously, the UNESCO Global Geopark Dong Van Karst Plateau had received this title twice.
Hanoi , Hoi An, Ninh Binh, Moc Chau, Vung Tau, Phu Quoc... also received many accolades.

Established in 1993, the World Travel Awards (WTA) are recognized as one of the most prestigious recognition mechanisms in the global tourism industry.
For over three decades, the WTA has become a benchmark for the prestige, quality of service, and attractiveness of destinations on the world tourism map.
