Closing the 2025 International Tea Festival, opening up expectations for Da Lat - Bao Loc to become the 'tea festival capital'

On the evening of December 7, the International Tea Festival - World TEA Fest 2025 officially ended after nearly a month taking place in Da Lat and Bao Loc and 3 peak days from December 5 to 7.

Not only is the festival a large-scale event promoting Vietnamese tea culture, it is also expected to create a new impetus for the tea tree to become a diplomatic symbol and a driving force for the goal of sustainable economic development.

The festival's series of activities attracted nearly 60,000 domestic and foreign visitors, with more than 10 cultural, economic and diplomatic programs, nearly 80 international Miss Cosmo contestants, and more than 60 ambassadors, trade counselors and consuls working in Vietnam.

In addition, at the festival there are also 1,111 tea artisans performing in a space displaying 1,000 ancient tea trees.

According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, the festival was held for the first time in Da Lat - the famous B'lao tea region (Bao Loc), the festival "conveyed" the message of revival, sustainability and green development. Programs connecting tea culture with art, tourism, trade, diplomacy and education have created a multi-layered chain of experiences, while opening up new expectations for the tea industry in the global value chain.

In the closing ceremony, the Gen Tea 2025 competition with the theme "Lighting up the soul of tea, awakening youth" concluded after many rounds of competition in Ho Chi Minh City and Lam Dong, selecting the champion team from more than 100 competing teams.

At the same time, artists such as Hien Thuc, Ngo Lan Huong, Kay Tran, Tang Duy Tan, Bich Phuong... brought a vibrant atmosphere with many elaborately staged performances.

The International Tea Festival - World TEA Fest 2025 creates an impression with diplomatic and economic value, stimulates accommodation, culinary, shopping services and opens up the potential to build the brand "Vietnam tea tourism" and opens up the expectation that Da Lat - Bao Loc will become the "tea festival capital".
