The Vietnam Fire Protection and Rescue Association (VFRA) announced that from August 14th to 16th, Ho Chi Minh City will host the International Exhibition on Fire Protection, Firefighting, Rescue, and Security Equipment and Technology 2025 (Secutech VietNam 2025).
The exhibition, organized by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department - Ministry of Public Security in collaboration with VFRA and related units, took place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, 799 Nguyen Van Linh Street, Phu My Hung Urban Area, Tan My Ward.

According to the organizers, people have long been guided and exposed to fire prevention, firefighting, and escape skills through documents, images, and television.
At the Secutech Vietnam 2025 exhibition, citizens, students, and young people will have the opportunity to learn, study, and participate in experiential activities and practice fire prevention, firefighting, and evacuation skills using modern, specialized equipment of the fire and rescue police force; basic first aid skills and other rescue and relief skills…


Specifically, the activities that people experienced included practicing using portable fire extinguishers to put out fires caused by gas leaks; experiencing high-altitude escapes using slow-descent ropes; and receiving practical training in basic first aid techniques for victims such as immobilizing broken bones, first aid for drowning, bandaging wounds, and first aid for burns.

In addition, participants can experience rescuing people and evacuating in smoky environments (experiencing the multi-purpose Fireblast training model); and experience the smoke maze.
Alongside these activities are experiences such as wearing fire-fighting suits and isolation gas masks, taking souvenir photos or photos with firefighters and rescue police officers; practicing laying fire hoses and spraying water into a target box; experiencing evacuation using a fire ladder truck; experiencing the model of a safe neighborhood fire prevention and control group…
