Phan Rang – Thap Cham City: Announcing the Green Community Group and launching a general environmental cleanup campaign

The Green Community Group was established with the aim of ensuring and maintaining the effectiveness of the Coastal Cities Sustainable Environment Project - Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Sub-project. The group operates on a voluntary basis, for a green-clean-beautiful city, carrying out the task of propagating, raising awareness and community responsibility to maintain environmental sanitation. Guiding the work of connecting wastewater from households to the city's general drainage system. Regularly inspecting and supervising the protection and maintenance of environmental sanitation, public property, order and social safety at canals, invested construction items and handling violations according to regulations.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the Sustainable Environment Project for Coastal Cities - Phan Rang - Thap Cham City Sub-project is a particularly important project to improve environmental sanitation conditions, enhance the quality of life for people, respond to climate change through completing technical infrastructure, drainage system, aiming to develop Phan Rang - Thap Cham City into a smart, modern urban area. He called on every citizen to have a correct awareness of the meaning of environmental protection; be responsible for preserving the environment, join hands to act, respond to environmental sanitation regularly and continuously... Thereby, contributing to building the city into a livable place.
