On the afternoon of July 5th, the Steering Committee 1585 of Thanh Hoa City held a conference to commend and reward collectives and households with outstanding achievements in implementing the campaign to support the construction of housing for poor households, policy beneficiary families, and households facing housing difficulties, in accordance with Directive No. 22-CT/TU, dated March 30, 2024, of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

In accordance with Directive No. 22-CT/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, Thanh Hoa City has set a target of building 300 houses for poor households, policy beneficiary families, and households facing housing difficulties. Specifically, the goal is to mobilize support for the construction of 150 houses in 2024; and to support the construction of another 150 houses between January 1, 2025 and September 30, 2025.
To achieve this goal, the Steering Committee 1585 of Thanh Hoa City and its wards and communes have intensified propaganda efforts regarding the purpose, significance, and objectives of the campaign to mobilize the active participation of officials, Party members, all sectors of the population, businesses, and philanthropists in contributing and supporting the cause.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Tam, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, reported on the results of the campaign's implementation.
Various forms of propaganda have been implemented, such as hanging large banners around the Go Thanh Hoa Supermarket roundabout; all 34 wards and communes have banners and slogans at their offices and in 311 streets and villages. The city and wards and communes have also intensified propaganda on the city and ward/commune radio stations, on the electronic information portal and local Fanpages...
By June 30th, the City's Steering Committee 1585 had called on departments, units, armed forces, and the City Business Association to register their support for 73 houses. The City's Steering Committee 1585 and the wards and communes have called for and received support from organizations, individuals, and households totaling nearly 10 billion VND.
A representative from the Le Family Business Club of Thanh Hoa province delivered a speech at the conference.
Many wards and communes have exceeded their targets for the first phase, such as: Ba Dinh ward at 120%, Tan Son ward at 112%, Quang Cat ward and Thieu Van commune at 109%, Hoang Dai commune at 106%, Quang Dong ward at 105%, Tao Xuyen ward at 103%, Phu Son and Dong Tho wards at 102%... In the school sector, notable achievements include Nguyen Trai High School at 112.5% and To Hien Thanh High School at 112%.
Comrade Le Anh Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.
The leaders of Thanh Hoa City presented certificates of commendation and letters of thanks to collectives and households that achieved outstanding results in implementing the campaign.
To spread the spirit of "mutual support and compassion" throughout the city and help disadvantaged families stabilize their lives, at the conference, leaders of the Thanh Hoa City Party Committee and People's Council awarded Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the City People's Committee and letters of thanks to 14 collectives and 1 family for their outstanding achievements in implementing the campaign.
